Objective : To explore the influence of Orem self-protection model based on family care on psychological status, sleep and quality of life in patients with sequelae of cerebral infarction. Methods: Forty-eight patients with cerebral infarction sequelae admitted to our hospital from January 2016 to June 2019 were randomly divided into control group and observation group. The control group received routine care after admission, and the observation group implemented the Orem self-protection model based on family care on the basis of routine care. Intervention for 8 weeks, comparing the psychological status of the two groups (ASS/SDS for anxiety/depression), sleep quality (Pittsburgh sleep quality index, PSQI) and quality of life (WHO Quality of Life Measurement Scale, WHOQOL-BREF) Evaluation results. Results: On the day of admission, there was no significant difference in the scores of SAS/SDS, PSQI and WHOQOL-BREF between the two groups (P>0.05). After 8 weeks of intervention, the SAS/SDS of the two groups decreased significantly compared with the day of admission, and PSQI and WHOQOL-BREF were compared. There were significant improvements on the day, but the physiological, psychological, social, environmental, and total scores of PSQI and WHOQOL-BREF in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion: The application of Orem self-care mode based on family care can significantly improve the negative emotions of patients with sequelae of cerebral infarction, improve the quality of life and quality of life, and effectively promote the recovery process of patients. |
