Objective: To analyze the effect of gestational diabetes screening on maternal and neonatal outcomes of gestational diabetes mellitus. Methods: 64 pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM) who had been registered in our hospital from January to December 2019 were selected as the case group(64 cases);the healthy pregnant women who had been given birth in our hospital during the same period were selected as the control group(64 cases). The two groups were used for gestational diabetes screening during pregnancy, and the neonatal score, adverse pregnancy outcomes and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results: The Apgar score of the control group was significantly better than that of the case group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the adverse pregnancy outcome of the control group was significantly lower than that of the case group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the incidence of neonatal complications in the control group was significantly lower than that in the case group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion: The implementation of GDM screening can effectively provide scientific basis for disease diagnosis, make patients get treatment as soon as possible, avoid the occurrence of adverse conditions, alleviate the discomfort of children, and show excellent clinical results. |
