Objective:To explore the nursing effect of health education for elderly patients with acute appendicitis.Methods:A total of 88 cases of elderly patients with acute appendicitis in People's Hospital of Kangping County from January 2018 to January 2020 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method,the subjects were randomly divided into two groups--the control group and the observation group(44 cases in each group).The control group was given routine nursing intervention mode,and the observation group was given health education on the basis of the control group.The nursing satisfaction and quality of life were compared between the two groups.Results:the nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 97.73%,which was higher than that of the control group(86.36%),P<0.05;there was no significant difference in the quality of life score between the two groups before nursing,P>0.05,after nursing,the scores of quality of life in the two groups were higher than those before nursing,P<0.05,and the observation group was higher than the control group,P<0.05.Conclusion:In the elderly acute appendicitis nursing,health education can provide patients with disease-related knowledge,correct their bad behavior,more conducive to the recovery of the disease,the quality of life of patients can be improved,satisfaction is ideal,it is worth recommending. |
